About Me
Hi there! I'm Alyssa. I'm a stylist in Upstate NY. When I am behind the chair I mainly do blondes, balayages, and extensions. I work at Studio Balayage located in Schenectady. I've been behind the chair for 4 years. I spent the first year of my time in a salon assisting under a senior stylist learning the ins and outs of what it is like working with clients to bring their hairstyle dreams to life.
Prior to officially being in the industry and getting my first salon job I always had a passion for hair and make up. I was always wanting to do my friends' and family's hair any chance I could. I would spend countless hours watching every YouTube video possible and trying to recreate it.
When I'm not in the salon you can always catch me taking classes to continue to learn and stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques. Outside of work I love to make things. My favorite thing is to look for ideas on Pinterest and recreate them. You can also find me spending time with my friends, family, and pup!
My goal is to always make each client feel important and special because they are! I value my time with each client, and I'm not satisfied until each and every client walks away not only with the gorgeous hair they love, but having had a great experience too.
